Old design (below): Initial launch page felt outdated with no story telling of brand. Taken from our user research of new users, the initial landing page felt "unknown" and lacked brand identity off the bat. Another opportunity was to limit the user clicks when navigating to the desired page. In the photos below, it takes about 3-4 clicks to get to the product, not including check out.

Improved design (below): Created style shortcuts for ease of navigation along with a carousel of brand identity photos taken from the brands history to further allow a connection between the user whether first time or returning. Reduced clicks to get into the main shopping page, now it only takes 1 rather than 2-3.

MIRO white boarding: Defining the problem & pin-pointing any pain points from initial user research allows for opportunities to be improved. We then define our goals & strategy to have a clear and concise direction. From here we run a competitive analysis, and through our findings - create our wireframe ideations. We begin storyboarding to determine the flow of usability and use our final decisions into LoFi prototypes. After some regrouping, we then move forward with our HiFi prototype and conduct User/Usability testing along with A/B testing for additional feedback.

In conclusion, this design sprint was an approximate 1.5 month effort as a collaborative passion project with my fellow cohort. Having a timeline for this project was a great reminder of how to stay consistently productive and keeping us on track for deadlines. While having full time jobs, we acknowledged that this project was something we we're interested in diving into, and as users of the mobile app & website we wanted to try our hand at providing a solution. I learned key findings through this projects such as different user research ideations as well exercise for prototyping through Figma.
Thank you for checking this project out!
